lnkd.in
LinkedIn short link
What it is
LinkedIn's own link shortener. Links in LinkedIn posts appear as lnkd.in/... and open a LinkedIn page that sends the visitor to your site. Logged-out visitors see a warning that the link leads off LinkedIn.
Why there's no full URL
The referrer is the lnkd.in redirect, not the LinkedIn post, so the post URL isn't passed on.
What traffic it represents
Clicks on links to your site shared in LinkedIn posts.
