What is t.co in analytics? X (Twitter) link shortener

What it is

X's link service. Every link posted on X, including in DMs, is replaced with a t.co link, and clicks go through t.co before reaching your site.

Why there's no full URL

The browser only knows it came from t.co, which is a redirect, not the post. You won't see which post or profile the click came from.

What traffic it represents

Clicks on links to your site posted on X (Twitter), from the website or apps that open links in a browser.

Sources

will automatically be processed and shortened to an http://t.co link.
