Pro email reports

Vireo Pro Needs an active Vireo Pro license.

Vireo Pro's daily, weekly or monthly report email, written up by AI or plain, with a history of sends and a preview before anything goes out.

On this page

Vireo Pro sends its own report email in place of the free email digest, so nobody gets two emails. Open Vireo Analytics, Reports to manage it.

Turn it on

The report follows the free digest’s settings. On the Email digest tab of Settings, tick “Send the digest”, choose a Frequency, then set Recipients and When (the Hour, plus the Day for Weekly). With the digest off, the Reports screen says the report is off and links to those settings.

Frequency is one of:

  • Daily: every morning, covering the day before.
  • Weekly: on the Day and Hour you set, covering the last seven full days.
  • Monthly: on the first of each month, covering the month before.

The Reports screen shows the schedule in a sentence, such as “Sent every Monday at 09:00 to…”. Recipients come from the digest’s Recipients box. Left blank, the report goes to the site’s admin email address. The subject reads “Daily”, “Weekly” or “Monthly Analytics Report” with the site name and period.

White-label branding puts your logo and colour on the email.

Style

Under Report, Style is one of:

  • AI-narrated: a short written read of the period, with the numbers underneath. It needs WordPress 7.0 or newer and an AI provider set up under Settings, Connectors. Vireo holds no AI key of its own. If no provider is set up, the report goes out plain, so you still get the numbers.
  • Plain: the numbers only. This is the default.

Test it

  • “Run dry preview” builds the current report and shows it without sending anything.
  • “Send test email” sends it to your own address now.

The Reports screen also shows the current Mode, which reads AI, PLAIN or OFF, and “Monthly spend (current)”. “Recent runs” lists the last ten sends with When, Trigger, Mode, Period, Status, Tokens (in/out), Cost and Notes, so you can see whether a scheduled report went out.

Alerts

Spike, drop and AI crawler alerts are set on the same screen. They’re covered in Traffic alerts.
