Install
Vireo Pro runs on top of the free plugin.
- Install and activate Vireo Analytics from WordPress.org, version 0.10.2 or newer.
- Download the Pro plugin from your purchase email or the customer portal.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, choose the Pro zip file, and activate it.
If the free plugin is missing or too old, Pro shows a notice and its features stay off until you update.
Activate your license
Go to Vireo Analytics, License. Enter the license key from your purchase email and click “Activate License”. If you can’t find the key, use the “Can’t find your license key?” link on the same screen, or log in to the customer portal.
Once the license is active, the License item becomes Account. That’s where you see your plan and manage the license.
Licenses are handled by Freemius, which processes Vireo Pro purchases. Activating sends Freemius your site’s address, the plugin version, and the name and email of the WordPress user who activates it. Nothing about your visitors is sent.
Updates
Pro updates appear on the normal WordPress Updates and Plugins screens once the license is active, the same as plugins from WordPress.org.
Move a license to another site
Open Vireo Analytics, Account on the old site and click “Deactivate License”. Then activate the key on the new site.
If your license lapses
The free plugin keeps working with all your data. Pro’s features switch off, and what Pro had already recorded stays in your database. Renewing switches them back on.
Invoices and downloads
Log in to the customer portal for your invoices, license keys and downloads.
